Anthony Riel (1997-2006):
One very important value that Anthony learned from Good Shepherd and his Catholic faith is integrity. Integrity became the foundation of his character, which he carried on throughout high school, college, and the rest of his life. At graduation he was also commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Now Anthony is back at the Air Force Academy working with the Department of Management. He is waiting to move to Laughlin AFB at Del Rio, Texas, in April for pilot training in hopes to fly fighter jets.
Lindsey Sweeney (1997-2006):
Her well rounded Catholic education, at Good Shepherd, created a structured religious environment, which set standards and precedencies, engendering a desire to excel. Lindsey lives in San Diego and is employed as an Aerospace Engineer at Northrop Grumman. She currently works on conceptual and early development projects for the Department of Defense in the Unmanned Systems Division of the company. For the future, Lindsey looks forward to continuing her education by completing her Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering.
