Parent Teacher Guild
As a parent of a student at GSCS you are a member of the PTG. We support the school community by sharing information, fund raising activities and social activities. There are many opportunities to volunteer and become an active part of your child's school and to make lifelong friends in the PTG. Required volunteer hours can be earned through PTG activities. Our fund raising activities provide funds to meet our obligation to the operating budget of the school. This helps to offset our tuition thereby making a Catholic education available to more families. This requires a team effort and commitment to the community.
We have five PTG general meetings each year. All parents must attend these meetings. As an incentive for parents to attend all five PTG meetings, there is a drawing at the final meeting of the year to award a four-hundred dollar (400) tuition credit to the winning family. Attendance is recorded at each meeting by signing the attendance roster that circulates during the meeting. Be sure to sign in to record your attendance and confirm your eligibility in the tuition drawing.
